Sagknorren was originally operated as a farm. It is beautifully situated in the deep forests of Småland, with a border with Halland, just where the many wars between Denmark and Sweden once ravaged.
The name Sagknorren comes from the fact that we operate a small sawmill where we mill timber from our forest for our own use as well as for other people around and that we used to raise pigs on the farm. The pigs had a crunch on their tail, which we also have in our business. In the yard we have chickens that produce your breakfast eggs and in the vegetable garden we grow many of the vegetables we serve at the Inn. We have a couple of horses in the meadows in the summer time and we also have dogs and cats.
On the property there are beautiful lakes with plenty of fish and other wildlife as well as many opportunities for relaxation and recreation.
Welcome to our little oasis of tranquility.
